Brussels must not be our new normal

Dear friends, colleagues and partners,

I hope this email finds you all well. We wanted to update you on our team’s work.
We traveled to Brussels on Monday intending to attend the graduation ceremony of our Mothers School in Belgium. We were staying in the hotel next to the Maelebeek metro station, the site of the atrocities on Tuesday morning.
In this grave and urgent time we must find ways to unite in both words and actions. The Mothers School Model is a key way to address the problem at its source.

I wanted to share with you an op-ed and a CNN segment I gave about the attacks and the Mother Schools:

I am determined more than ever to scale the Mothers Schools up widely and am grateful to have your support.

With solemn yet emboldened regards from Brussels,
Edith Schlaffer
